Winged Multipurpose Corkscrew

Founded in 1926, L’Atelier du Vin, is a family business specializing in oenology from the cellar to the table. From their design studio in Paris, the company constantly strives to design, develop and produce highly precise wine accessories that are as ergonomic as they are elegant. Truly the ‘haute couture’ of wine accessories.

L’Atelier du Vin carefully selected each component of the corkscrew’s mechanism to ensure that it is robust and easy to use. Its special rounded, forged and Teflon plated 5 wire worm grips any sorts of corks and extracts it without tearing them. The inside of the base is covered in soft plastic so as to not chip the neck. Deliberately kept in its original raw state, the body is made out of particularly hard-wearing zamak with a simple coat of transparent varnish and no chrome or paint, to emphasize its rugged nature. The head includes a large bottle opener to gently remove beer or lemonade caps of any size. Which means you only need one tool to uncork or uncap any type of wine bottle or fizzy drink.
